Micro:bits

We are thrilled to announce that we have recently received a generous package of 30 Micro:bits from the BBC.

Micro:bits are versatile, pocket-sized computers designed to introduce programming and electronics to young learners. These innovative devices are equipped with LED displays, buttons, and sensors, making them the perfect tool for students to explore coding, create interactive projects, and develop problem-solving skills.

Our digital leaders have already embarked on an exciting journey with these Micro:bits, learning how to harness their full potential. We're excited to see the creative and educational possibilities these Micro:bits will unlock for our students.

Ohbots

We are thrilled to announce that we have received a generous grant from Meet and Code, which has enabled us to acquire two Ohbot robots.  Our digital leaders are embarking on an inspiring journey to name these robots after individuals they admire from the world of computing. This project not only fosters a sense of ownership and connection with the robots but also serves as an educational opportunity to explore the remarkable lives and achievements of famous computing figures. By connecting our students with the legacies of individuals like Ada Lovelace, Alan Turing, Grace Hopper, Steve Jobs, and many others, we aim to inspire the next generation of innovators and thinkers in the field of technology. Stay tuned to discover the names our digital leaders choose and the fascinating stories behind them
