In a thrilling football match to kick off our Year 3/4 football league, our Riverside team fought hard against Rayleigh Primary School - who came prepared with many experienced Year 4s! Buddy HH and James ML were incredible in goal to deny many goals for the Home team, while outfield players Charlie P and Thomas B were engines in midfield and attack.
We were unlucky to lose the match, taken by surprise by Rayleigh’s sudden second-half bursts of energy!
A big well done to our Year 3s who played in their first football match in the Blue Building: Jack T, Max K, James ML, Thomas P, and George H. Very well done to the Year 4s who displayed a great show of leadership in their first match as the older players: Buddy HH, Sofie W, Charlie P, Thomas B. You played fantastically well and should be very proud.
